We had a fabulous 4-star experience here. The staff was beautiful and sweet with advice and suggestions. Thoroughly enjoyed our rooms with 2 double beds.

Had 4 nights in Liberia, spent our time here lovely. Loved our room that was kept clean and available with the king size bed, a hammock and bugs inside. Food was great and excellent; the staff were exceptionally nice.

Everything was simply great. Had a special stay for an unforgettable vacation, glad I've chosen it. The location was stunning and absolutely perfect - walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go. This hotel was set in a very nice area. The room I booked was kept clean and available with a hammock as well as the king size bed.

The hotel was located short walk to the jungle, the pacific coast around Playa Hermosa, and hot spring of mineral water to soak in. All of the staff members were incredibly nice and superfriendly. Our large and spotless room was equipped with a hammock and bugs inside, for instance. The cost was usd 112. Stunning and beautiful location to a beautiful waterfall made it easy to get to key attractions.

The rooms they have were spotless and brand-new with hardwood floors and the king size bed and a hammock. Had a shower and hairdryers in the bathroom. Very amiable staff and the location was beautiful and perfect. Its service was excellent.

Beautiful hotel, the staff was funny, fantastic service. The room was both cozy and amazing with ac and bugs inside and 2 double beds. Stunning secluded location very close to wildlife and domestic animals and the nature to the natural hot springs to the food. It also was to the Hermosa beach area.

My family and I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in Costa Rica. We had a fantastic time at Blue River Resort. The hot springs were incredibly relaxing and comfortable, and the affordable spa treatments were a highlight. The food, including the steak and sea bass, was delicious, and all the dishes we tried were great. The horseback riding and falls added to our enjoyable experience. The staff was professional and helpful, making our stay even better. I highly recommend a visit to this unique hotel.

The location is not optimal (because there is no summit trail possible), otherwise everything is TOP!

The value for money at this hotel was great, and the room was spacious and clean. The location was remote and breathtaking, surrounded by jungle and the beautiful River Azul. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and were incredibly helpful, especially Lester and Manuel at check-in. Kevin Diaz made our horseback riding and hiking experience special. the staff and the location made our stay at this resort unforgettable.

The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

I stayed here for 7 days with my 10 yr old granddaughter and we had the best time together. In fact, we are returning (with grandpa this time!) in April 2017. We experienced the spa (2X), horseback riding, swimming in the falls, etc. We found the guides to be knowledgeable and very aware of being safe. I surely appreciated it. The restaurant staff were excellent and the food was more than good and affordable. The cabana's are just lovely and we enjoyed swinging in the hammock on the front porch.

Family friendly. Clean and very beautiful. Staff was more than helpful anytime we needed assistance. If your lucky and the owner is in town (Daniel), be sure and speak with him. He is VERY knowledgeable of the area and can share lots of information that is helpful to make your stay safe and enjoyable. Thank you, Daniel!!! This really isn't a con, but be aware that the ride getting to Blue River may be a little rough for some. There were (at least in 2016) unpaved roads out to the resort. We were there in March-April overlap time frame and the country is working on extending the highway further out towards the resort. Takes about 90 minutes from Liberia Airport. Don't forget to enjoy the scenery along the way!!!
